Why can't I find the business I'm searching for?

We're still refining the dynamics of our search engine to make it more intuitive, but you still need to enter the information correctly in ALL the fields. Misspelling the city name ("Albequerky") or including the wrong zip code will ruin your search. If you KNOW you've typed all the information in correctly, try these hints: 

1. If the business name has an apostrophe, try leaving it out (bills diner instead of bill's diner). 
2. Broaden your search area (leave out the zip or city). 
3. Don't try to use the entire name (bills diner instead of bills diner & cafe). 
4. Try variations of the business name (bills cafe). 
5. Use Boolean search terms AND, AND NOT & OR (bills AND diner). 
   

Can I find an individual or look up a business by its telephone number?

While we don't currently have the capability to do a reverse lookup or search for individuals (most of our users are interested in finding the telephone number for businesses rather than individuals), this is something that we have discussed for the future. Please keep checking back! 

My business isn't listed - what's up with that?

Did you enter it correctly (see above)? 
The data contained in our database is derived from two sources: 

1. Contractual relationships with database companies to provide information from local publishers, phone books, new business filings, Arabservices representatives and other assorted sources. 
2. Businesses who list, modify, update or enhance their listings; businesses who advertise with category display advertisements. 

You can wait for it to eventually find its way into the directory through channel 1...

Listing with islamicyellowpages.com is the easiest and quickest way to let your customers find you. It's no longer necessary to list with multiple directories because our site is so easy to remember. How many times have you passed a billboard on the freeway advertising their company and not be able to remember what came before the "dot-com" by the time you've reached your exit? How do I find businesses outside the USA?

You can easily link to Arab Businesses around the world by using the Global Links section on our home page.

How do I change an incorrect business listing?

Most of the listings in our directory were purchased from a third-party vendor and we cannot
guarantee their accuracy. If your listing is incorrect, please send an e-mail to Support@islamicyellowpages.com and request a correction form which will give you the choice of enhancing, correcting or deleting, your listing. We may need to verify the information supplied. 

Why don't you include e-mail addresses, faxes or toll-free numbers?

Basic listings include the name, address and phone number for the business. 

Businesses can purchase enhanced listings that offer the opportunity to include e-mail addresses, web links, graphics, and a whole lot more! If the Business provides this info, it will be included..
